We had such a wonderful time on our vacation to Folly Beach. We actually stayed close to downtown Charleston and loved walking around town in the evenings. We found a water park and a Splash Play area on James Island for the girls to play in. There are also several nice playgrounds on James Island as well as at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant. We did also venture to find a bounce house for the girls to enjoy. All in all, we had a wonderful time.
We took a detour on the way home, due to road construction, which allowed us the chance to hike up to Clingman's Dome. This made me realize just how much I love living where we do... so close to the mountains. It is always fun to go on a vacation, but even more rewarding realizing there is no place like home.
