Green Tip : Conserve Water

I have suggested something like this before, but here it is again:

Try shaving off just 30 seconds from your shower. Just being aware of this may cause you to change your habits (maybe even subliminally).

How does this really save water, you are wondering: For every 30 seconds you shorten your shower, you'll save up to 4 gallons of water. This also helps us as a population because America's waste water plants and drinking water systems spend about $4 billion each year to treat water.

Every drop of water and penny add up, especially these days !

Eye Opening Facts: Of all the water in the world, only 3% is fresh. Less than one third of 1% of this fresh water is available for human use. The rest is frozen in glaciers or polar ice caps, or is deep within the earth, beyond our reach.

To put it another way, if 100 litres represents the world's water, about half a tablespoon of it is fresh water available for our use.
