Collect water in a large container while you wait for your shower to warm up.

The water you save can go to your plants or other household chores. You could also collect the water in Nalgene bottles and let that be your drinking water for the day. The average American spends $45 per year on bath and shower water.

Also, I read somewhere that Jennifer Aniston works hard to conserve water... she takes a three minute shower and brushes her teeth while in the shower.

I personally do all the green tips I post, but this is one I have not yet tried... although it makes perfect sense and I have heard of other people actually doing this.
